From youth hostels to luxury hotels more and more visitors to Paris are looking for that unique moment or momento that they can take home as a souvenir they can find at the local mall. With globalization and the internet, this is getting harder to do.

Only in Paris seeks to highlight the places, people and objects that make this the City of Light.

  1. i am a recent visitor to Paris . We brought our son for his first visit so the focus was tourist activities. This was our third triip, however the other two were business focused so once again touristy. I’ve always wanted to find out where the real Parisian’s live. I was courius to find a vibrant neighborhood and I found your photo complicated description very informational. Thanks for this. I think I signed up for future blogs. (Not sure I did it correctly ☺️.

    • Bonjour James, I am glad you enjoy Paris enough to come back, despite the business.
I’ll be here more often now that the site is truly running.

    • Hi Martha,
Merci for your interest! I have just posted a space for you to sign up on the landing page.
      Cheers. S

  2. Can’t wait to hear about all the things I’ve missed on my trips to Paris! Headed to Italy on 18/6/2015. Will be on a cruise out of Venice, but will be stopping somewhere in France (to hit Monte Carlo?) before we hit Spain as our final destination. Unfortunately no Paris this time! But I’ll be ringing your bell next time I’m there 🙂

    • Would love to see you in Paris. In the meantime, reserve dinner at Aquapazzo in Venice and check out the boules club in Monte Carlo for a lunch with locals!!!

  3. Dear Sylvia,
It was really nice meeting you yesterday evening in that “bag party” 🙂 Also happy you told me about your new website which I am very happy to follow from now. A bientôt! Amandine

    • Dear Amandine,
It was lovely meeting you and thank you for visiting the site! A bientôt. S

  4. Hi, Sylvia,

My name is Courtney Lichterman and I’m an editor at Trippy.com, a Q&A community that exists to encourage more people to travel.

I came across your incredible blog and was so impressed with your knowledge of and enthusiasm for Paris! It’s one of my favorite cities in the world so it’s nice to see someone write about it so eloquently and about things I had no idea even existed there. I’m contacting you as we just launched a Trippy Ambassador program, and we’re looking for three Paris influencers to represent the city on the site.

I wanted to invite you to join Trippy and answer/ask a few questions to get a feel for the community and our mission.

From there, I would love to chat about being an Ambassador and filling you in on all the advantages of being one.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
